1. Who operates Continuum
Continuum is an independent product operated by Stoyan Korudzhiev, an individual and not a registered company. In this policy, “Continuum,” “I,” and “me” refer to that product and its operator.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Continuum marketing website, hosted browser workspace, product documentation, and the feedback and release-update forms. The packaged desktop application uses separate local storage but follows the same local-first calculation boundary.
3. Calculation data stays local
Continuum does not require an account and does not currently provide cloud synchronization. Documents, folders, calculation source, shared variables, archives, settings, onboarding progress, theme choices, and desktop quick drafts are stored in the current browser or desktop application data store.
The browser workspace, packaged desktop application, and desktop development environment have separate stores. Data moves between them only when you deliberately create and restore a backup. The landing-page demo evaluates text in that page and does not create a workspace document.
4. Information you choose to submit
The landing page and hosted workspace offer three voluntary form intentions:
- Stay updated submits your email address and release-update consent, but no message.
- Anonymous feedback submits your message with empty identity fields and no release-update consent.
- Feedback + updates submits your message, email address, and release-update consent.
Every submission also includes its date, selected intent, and originating Continuum surface. Messages are limited to 3,000 characters. Do not submit passwords, financial account details, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information.
5. Formspree processing
Form submissions are sent to and processed by Formspree. Formspree may process the submitted fields and technical request information such as IP address, browser type, access time, domain, and referring address to deliver the form, maintain security, and prevent fraud or spam. Formspree may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions.
“Anonymous feedback” therefore means that Continuum does not request or submit separate name or email fields in that mode. It is not a promise of network-level anonymity. Formspree’s own Privacy Policy governs its processing.
6. Release updates
Choosing an update-related intent is your affirmative consent to occasional Continuum release messages. Formspree submissions are the consent record, and the list is maintained manually. Continuum does not currently use a mailing-list provider or paid marketing automation.
You may withdraw consent at any time by making a request through the feedback section. Put “Unsubscribe” at the beginning of the message and include the email address that should be removed.
7. Analytics
The marketing website uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated page views and custom events. Vercel documents that its Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies, does not associate data with an individual or IP address, and may process information such as page URL, filtered query parameters, referrer, broad location, browser, operating system, and device type. Feedback analytics contain only the generated source and selected intent—never the email address or message.
The canonical hosted workspace uses Umami for limited product analytics such as page loads and meaningful calculation or preview events. Continuum does not send document contents, email addresses, or feedback messages in those events. Local development, previews, and packaged desktop pages do not activate the hosted workspace analytics integration.
8. Why information is processed
- To provide requested form delivery and respond to feedback.
- To send release updates when you have consented.
- To understand aggregated product usage and improve Continuum.
- To prevent abuse, protect the service, and comply with legal obligations.
Where applicable, these purposes rely on consent, performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in operating and improving Continuum, and compliance with legal obligations.
9. Retention and sharing
Local calculation data remains under your control until you delete it through the application or clear the relevant app data. Submitted forms are retained in Formspree only as long as reasonably needed to review feedback, administer release consent, resolve disputes, maintain security, or meet legal obligations.
Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate these functions—currently Formspree, Vercel, and Umami—or when required by law, necessary to protect rights and safety, or involved in a future transfer of the product. Continuum does not sell submitted personal information.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority.
To make a privacy request, use the Continuum feedback form and begin the message with “Privacy request.” Include enough information to identify the relevant submission. If you want a reply, you may voluntarily include a contact address in the message. Identity may need to be verified before a request affecting personal information is completed.
11. Children
Continuum is not directed to children under 16, and personal information is not knowingly collected from them. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may request its deletion.
12. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy may change as Continuum evolves or legal requirements change. Material revisions will be posted here with a new effective date.
